Dr Eddie Clark Osteopath
Eddie Clark is a qualified and registered Osteopath, having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Osteopathy with the University of Western Sydney. Eddie graduated in 2004 and has been practicing continuously since then and has gained registration as an Osteopath both in Australia and the U.K.
Whilst working in the UK, he was employed as a senior lecturer and then field chair of the Oxford Brookes Osteopathy program for 2 years, engaging in teaching practical and theoretical subjects to student Osteopaths and continuing with his own study. He has also lectured on numerous subjects at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in Sydney. He is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).
Since returning home to Australia from the UK, Eddie has focused exclusively on clinical practice and set up one half of Sydney Osteopathic Health Care in 2009. He is a highly skilled therapist with extensive practical experience from working both in Australia and in the UK. He has a strong interest in providing the best in Osteopathic clinical care for a range of conditions, from common office and workplace related problems through to sports injuries and post surgical rehabilitation. He sees patients with a range of neck and lower back pain complaints, as well as other joint and muscle complaints. He works cooperatively with many local GPs and specialists to ensure his patients get the best treatment and care.
Eddie has a background in personal training and has particular interests in exercise prescription and rehabilitation. He is a keen runner and cyclist and has competed in Triathlons and ocean swimming events and has also worked with amateur football teams in pre-season conditioning programs and injury management.
He is a previous Board member of the Australian Osteopathic Association.
